Before it was converted into a museum, the Grove Farm Sugar Plantation was one of the first islands. It was purchased by George Wilcox in 1864, and it remained the property of the Wilcox family for 150 years after the deal. Although all sugarcane production ceased in the 1990s, visitors to the museum can still navigate the well-kept 100-acre estate and learn about the sugarcane production process.
General admission to the Grove Farm Sugar Plantation Museum is $20. Tours are available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. View more about the services offered here.
